This series consists of a register of applications to adopt from overseas which records the process and details of intercountry adoptions involving children adopted by Australian families from other countries. Information recorded includes priority (date), adoptive parents' names and address, details of the child including country of origin, male or female and age, date approved, update, O/S section 14, comments (which include child details) date placed, date of order and file reference. Updates relating to transfers of applications to other states, or cancellations are included. The entries are in chronological order by date of priority.
