This series consists of a copy of the 113 page memoirs of Philip Francss Muldoon covering his career as a postal clerk (1912-1918), and a Mounted Police Officer (1919-1938), Mining Warden and Keeper of HM Gaol and Labour Prison in Alice Springs. The memoirs include images of Mr Muldoon as a clerk in Adelaide and in the Northern Territory including the Botanic Gardens, Post Office quarters, Police Barracks Darwin, Timber Creek, Elsie Station, Newcastle Waters. and Gaolers Residence Alice Springs. Newspapers and magazine clippings, and transcripts of correspondence are also included. The typescript is quite faded and difficult to decipher in some sections.
